Proxima

Danish semi-prozine published by Denmark's largest fan group, Science Fiction Cirklen; both the group and the magazine were formed in 1974; issue #107 was published in early 2022.

Proxima from the start is in digest format, currently with around 120 pages per issue and published twice yearly. It can probably be best compared to British and US publications like Foundation or Extrapolation, publishing author profiles, reviews, critical essays, bibliographic material and original as well as translated fiction. It is a high quality magazine about science fiction literature. Editor for the first ten issues was Carsten Schiøler; later editors have included Niels Dalgaard, Svend Kreiner Møller, Ole E. Petterson, Erik Swiatek, and Erik Wittchen.
