Play Time
Play Time or possibly Playtime was an apazine published by Norman G. Wansborough for OMPA.
Its history is a little unclear. The British Fanzine Bibliography lists two issues, both dated June 1955 and both appearing in OMPA mailing #4. #1 was 12 pages single-sided and #2 was 8 pages. Greg Pickersgill's index is broadly similar, only differing in having the issues simply dated '1955' and with #2 appearing in OMPA mailing #5.
However, APAthy, an index to the first five years of OMPA, lists only one issue, the 12-page #1 in mailing #4.
It seems clear that there were two issues as Pickersgill's list is based on items in his possession. Whether it was distributed in OMPA mailing #4, mailing #5, or externally is unknown.
Ethel Lindsay said in Scottishe #4 (September 1955):
I chortled lots over this Norman, it was one of the best items in the mailing.
