Phil Schless was a fan from Salford near Manchester, UK active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Nor'west Science Fantasy Club (NSFC) from 1952 and is mentioned in an addenda to Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom of 1955 as a member of the newly formed Manchester Circle, the informal successor to the NSFC.
Slightly confusingly, there was also a Manchester fan called Phil Sless who does seem to have been a different person as both are mentioned with different addresses in the 1955 Directory addenda.
