(???? – )

Pete Royle was a fan from Manchester, UK active in the mid-1950s. He attended Cytricon in 1955 and, based on a letter in Triode #4 (August 1955), he was also at Midwestcon 6 in Bellefontaine, OH making him likely only the fourth UK fan to attended an American convention[1].

He contributed to Triode and Rot and in Triode #6 (Spring 1956), Arthur Thomson said 'I consider him one of the up and coming younger fanwriters.' Thomson suggests that at the time Royle was doing national service at Arborfield Garrison in Berkshire at the same time as Ken Potter.

Royle is listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955 and 1956 but not thereafter so presumably he only came up so far.
