Permanent Floating Worldcon Committee

A loosely knit group of smofs who volunteer regularly to work on Worldcons around the globe. The name, not exactly laudatory, comes from (or inspired?) a 1974 Larry Niven story, "The Last Days of the Permanent Floating Riot Club."
