Nicholas E. Kenealy was a Bay Area fan active in the 1940s. He was a member of the Golden Gate Futurians and one of the 64 charter members of the National Fantasy Fan Federation in 1941.
Kenealy, a career soldier who enlisted in the Army in 1937, discovered fandom afterward. He was the winner of a Thrilling Wonder Stories amateur writing contest, and his short story, “Conquistadores from Beyond,” was published in the January 1940 issue. Before World War II, he was stationed at Hamilton Field in Marin County, CA. He had a 21-year military career and later became an accountant.
