mi was a single-sheet fanzine published by Eric Bentcliffe and distributed with Skyrack (until 1964) and later Checkpoint (from 1972). The title was rendered all in lower case. In its first issue, Bentcliffe said:

People who see mi as having some connection with the BENTCLIFFE FOR TAFF campaign can be informed that this this is not published with the aim of gaining votes - but rather, to provide more evidence for folk to base their voting judgement on, regarding me. All of which is quite enough on general policy and like that.

  4. Assuming it was distributed with Skyrack, both these issues were dated April 1964.
  5. The issue is numbered 'Vol. 2 No'. It is likely #2 but could be some higher number. If it is #2 there may have been further v2 issues but if so the British Fanzine Bibliography doesn't know about them.

  7. Bentcliffe said 'This being Vol.3. No.1. due to the fact that the aforementioned EB cannot remember what he was up to when Ron Bennett unkindly folded Skyrack newsletter.
