Mercatorial Annual was a fanzine published by Archie and (for some issues) Beryl Mercer of Bristol, UK. The first issue is implied by the existence of the second and numbering gets a little erratic from the onset of volume 2. As well as the issues listed below, the British Fanzine Bibliography, which describes the title as 'a small Xmas fanzine', says 'Issues up to Dec.'74 are known.'
It's third issue sets out a long list of things of which it is in favour, beginning
Briefly, then, the Mercatorial Annual is in favour of decimal coinage, convertible sterling, free trade, bigger and better caravans, more Grue, Fred Spoons E.P.N.S.[1], the G.D.A., the B.S.F.A., TAFF, OMPA, Lincoln (Nebraska), drip-dry coffee, lead novelettes in Science Fantasy, Good Men of both sexes, double-yolked eggs, the basement of 130 London Road Cheltenham[2], Bloch, posterity, pickle, a special employment agency for the convenience of Pete Taylor and Mike Moorcock, the Tower of Bheercans to the Moon
... and much more.
