Marcon 38 was held May 23–25, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, OH. Grand Master GoH was Jack Vance, Author GoH was J. Gregory Keyes, Filk GoHs were Bill & Brenda Sutton and Judith & Dave Hayman, and Media GoHs were Rod Roddenberry, Kenny Baker, and Richard Biggs. Approximately 1800 attendees.
