A bid to hold the 1970 Westercon (Westercon 23) at the Alexandria Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. Members of the bid include bid Ted Johnstone (who may have led the bid) and Dave Hulan.
It's opposition seems to have been Berkeley 1970, but the eventual convention was held in Santa Barbara, CA by Bjo and John Trimble. See 1970 Westercon Site Selection.
