(???? – )

Leon Stone was an Australian fan from Gordon, New South Wales active in the 1940s and 1950s and to a degree later. He contributed film news to Etherline – as well as regularly appeaing in its trading section seeking early back issues of Slant – and published the fanzine Koolinda which appeared roughly annually. Amateur journalism and Lovecraftiana seem to have been specialisms as he was credited by George T. Wetzel with assistance on the bibliography for The Lovecraft Collector Library (1979). Sadly, at some point between its compilation and 1982 'Stone's extensive collection of amateur press journals [was] destroyed by fire' (Fantasy Commentator #32 (Winter 1982)).

An essay 'Leon Stone: Amateur Journalist and Pioneer Lovecraft Collector' by Leigh Blackmore appeared in Red Viscous Madness #1 (August 1984)
