Larry Hodges
(February 27, 1960 –)
Larry Hodges is an sf writer, largely of short fiction, from Germantown, MD. He’s an alumnus of the 2006 Odyssey Writers’ Workshop, the 2007 Orson Scott Card Literary Boot Camp, and the 2008 Taos Toolbox Writers’ Workshop.
A graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor's in math, he also holds a master's in journalism. He’s been a full-time writer for many years with several books and over 1,200 published articles in scores of different publications. His non-genre works include the satirical collection Trump Tales: A Taunting (2020).
In mundane life, he is a table-tennis coach. A member of the USA Table Tennis Hall of Fame, he has been playing since age 16. He once beat someone using an ice cube as a racket. “I’m the best table tennis player in SFWA, and the best SF writer in USATT!!!” Hodges says.
