LA in '87 (I) was a Westercon bid organized by Dan Deckert to hold the 1987 Westercon in Los Angeles. It seems to have been a LASFS bid by membership, if not by formal sponsorship. Deckert had to pull back from organizing in in mid-1984 due to work pressures.
It seems to have been distinct from the LA in '87 bid.
