LA 2000 was held December 5-7, 1975 at the International Hotel Hyatt House at the Los Angeles Airport in Los Angeles. There were no GoHs. It was chaired by: Milt Stevens.
It was named "LA 2000" because it celebrated the 2000th meeting of LASFS. The following year, it was made into a regular annual convention called Loscon.
Membership was 199 with 196 attending, mostly from LA, but including people from the Bay Area and Kees van Toorn, an APA-L contributor, from the Netherlands!
The convention consisted of a program and a big con suite, but no hucksters room or art show.
