Krissy Benders

(July 8, 1953 – June 28, 2024)

Donna Christine “Krissy” Benders was a Boston fan active mainly in the 1970s and 80s who was a part of the Newton South High School SF Club, a founding Fellow of NESFA, and NESFA trustee. She designed some of the earliest NESFA Press books (she worked as a book designer at Little, Brown) and worked on Boskone and the early Noreascons. She moved to Hawaii with Sue Champeny in the 1990s and got burned out in the recent eruption of Kilauea.
