Karl Dollner

Karl Dollner was a UK fan from Hove, near Brighton active in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a founder member of the British Science Fiction Association (BSFA).
He is was a member of Loncon in 1957 although it's not known if he attended, and he was at the Brumcon in 1959. He voted in the 1959 TAFF Race.
Vector #4 said that Dollner had compiled a 50-page index to Galaxy for the BSFA. Keith Freeman had typed the stencils, Terry Jeeves had secured an introduction from H. L. Gold, and the job had then been passed to Jeeves's replacement, Bobbie Wild. However there was a problem. The index had been typed on Gestetner stencils that Wild couldn't run on her duplicator. Could anybody in the BSFA help?
In Erg #89 (January 1985), Jeeves explained that the stencils were subsequently lost and when the guide eventually appeared several years later it ommitted the Gold introduction and didn't credit Jeeves, Freeman or Dollner.
Dollner had ceased to be a BSFA member by 1962.
