K. Johnstone

K. Johnstone was a UK fan active in the 1950s. He is known to have attended Festivention in 1951 purely on the strength of a signature on a copy of the programme and he also appears on the membership list for the London SF Con of 1952 which further locates him in 'Wawks' which is to say 'Warwickshire'. On that list his name appears next to K. Johnson, coincidentally of the neighbouring county of Staffordshire, usefully confirming that they are two different people and one isn't a typo for the other.

There is also a K. Johnstone on the membership list for Supermancon in 1954, now with an address in Birmingham, sufficiently close that it's likely the same person.

It is perhaps striking that he was definitely at the 1951 convention, was at least a member of the 1952 and 1954 conventions, and could have been a member of the Coroncon in 1953 but there's no published membership list to check against. And yet aside from all that we don't really know anything about him.
