John R. Elliott was a London fan active in the 1930s. He was variously described as president or vice-president of the Hayes Science Fiction Club and its successor guise as the first British Science Fiction Association (unrelated to the current BSFA, formed in 1958) although the group was never large or as national as its later name implied.
