James H. Madole

James Harting (or Hartung) Madole was a fan from Upstate New York active in the 1940s. He founded the Animist Party, a doctrine calling for complete integration of all social, cultural, and governmental units to pave the way for greater productive capacity. Fans were to form the nucleus of this political party.
It fizzled by 1947. Madole gafiated and founded the National Renaissance Party in 1948, becoming a leader in post-World War II occult-fascism and white supremacism.
He died of cancer.
