Jack E. Quinn was a (presumably) United States fan notable from a UK perspective for penning a piece called 'The Whitcon Report' published in Fantasy Times V3 #9 (September 1948). Quinn essays the admittedly difficult task of trying to decode the signatures of the attendees as listed in the Whitcon Booklet, and consequently creates such fans as Sydney Rounds, George Overton and Frank Arno.
