Glenn Lord, a Texas literary agent, editor, and publisher of the prose and poetry of fellow Texan Robert E. Howard, was the first and and among the most important researchers of Howard's life and writings.
He was a member of the Pulp Era Amateur Press Society, The Esoteric Order of Dagon, and the Hyborian Legion with the title "Mayor of the Palace of Tarantia".
