David Farland

(May 15, 1957 – January 15, 2022 )

David Farland was a penname of David John “Dave” Wolverton, which he used for his fantasy works. He was best known for his Runelords series.

He was a founder of the Superstars Writing Seminar.

He lived in St. George, Utah, with his wife and five children. He died of a brain aneurysm.
