Concat 13

Concat 13 was a convention scheduled to be held November 23-25, 2001 at the Hyatt Regency in Knoxville, TN. The GoHs were Yvonne Navarro plus "TBD".

Shortly before the convention, it was cancelled with the statement from the committee:

ConCat 13: Cancelled
In this case, 13 truly is an unlucky number.

ConCat was informed this morning that because of an accounting problem from last year (which we were told not to worry about) that unless we can come up with $3,200 (which we don't have) by Friday, we don't have a hotel. This being the case, we don't have a hotel! Without a hotel, we don't have a convention.

Due to such short notice we have to cancel this year. We feel much worse about this than you do, believe us.

Bear with us through this crisis and we will keep you informed about next year.
