ConQuest 55 was expected to be held May 24-27, 2024, but never seems to have been formally announced.
In October 2023, Rosemary Williams, who had been selected to chair the 2024 convention, announced a meeting to discuss the future of ConQuest, citing risks due to higher hotel costs and committee burnout. There seems to have been no further news, but in February 2024 the committee started circulating word that ConQuest 2024 would not be held and hoping that it might be revived in 2025.
