Con-Version V was held in 1988 at the Carriage House Inn in Calgary, AB. Robert Silverberg and Karen Haber Silverberg were GoHs, William Gibson was Canadian Guest, Crawford Killian was Writers Workshop Guest, L. Sprague de Camp and Catherine Crook de Camp were Special Guests, and Patricia Rose Deignan of Industrial Light & Magic was Media Guest. Ed Bryant was toastmaster.
