(1898 – ????)

Colin Henry Askham was a fan from Liverpool in the early 1930s.

He was the president of the Universal Science Circle, the UK's second fan group after the Ilford Science Literary Circle, and the first vice-president of the British Interplanetary Society.

Askham was born Colin Henry Littlewood and after being orphaned he was brought up by an aunt. He enlisted in the Royal Flying Corps in 1915 and served in the First World War as a wireless telegraphist[1]. With two friends he was one of the original investors in the Littlewoods Football Pool in 1923. He was however bought out by a fellow founder a few years later. A few years after that the company became a huge success.
