Charles Vess

(1951 --)

Charles Vess is an American fantasy artist and comic-book illustrator who has specialized in the illustration of myths and fairy tales. His influences include include comic-strip artist Hal Foster. He has frequently collaborated with SF/fantasy writer Neil Gaiman.
