Burt Satz

(ca. 1940 –)

Burton Satz was a 1950s LA fan, one of the teenaged 7th Fandomites. His primary claim to fannish fame was, at age 14, drinking some haircream (which see) at SFCon.

He was a pal of Peter Vorzimer’s, but not, apparently, such a good one that Pete didn’t make him go through with it. Vorzimer wrote at length about him in his conrep in Abstract 8.

Satz was assistant editor of Starlight.

He was a jazz fan.
