Bruce Gaffron was a UK fan and artist from London active in the 1940s. He attended the Eastercon and produced its souvenir booklet. He was a member of the Cosmos Club (CSC) and the British Fantasy Society (BFS).

Futurian War Digest #28 notes his first appearance at a Cosmos Club meeting in Teddington in April 1943 where he 'displayed some of his fine fantasy artwork'. He attended the 1944 Eastercon and produced its souvenir booklet, its publication 'badly delayed by the interference of doodle-bugs'.

He contributed artwork to Cosmic Cuts, The Beyond and BFS Beyond with D. R. Smith saying he 'can fairly claim to be on a par with Turner'. Nigel Lindsay writing in Fantasy Review #2 said he thought Gaffron better than Ed Cartier, Paul Orban and Swenson.

He had some professional sales in the 1940s (as by simply 'Gaffron') and the 1950s.

This isn't confirmed but a Bruce Fordyce Gaffron (born September 15, 1922, a commercial artist from Cheam) emigrated to the United States in 1956 with his wife and daughter. Cheam is close to our Bruce Gaffron's last know address in Merton Park. That Bruce Gaffron died in San Diego on January 10, 2011.
