The center of fanac in Georgia, home of Atlanta Science Fiction Society, Atlanta Chapter of The Tolkien Fellowships, Atlanta Science Fiction Club, Atlanta Science Fiction Organization
It hosted the 1986 Worldcon, Confederation, plus Atlanta Fantasy Fair, Frolicon, and still hosts Dragon*Con and GAFilk.
