Allen Greenfield, an Atlanta fan, was active mainly in the 1960s and ’70s. With Joe Celko, Glen Brock, John Ulrich, Steve Hughes and others, he was responsible for the return of organized SF fandom in Atlanta and the revival of ASFO during that era. He was a member of the SCA and was active in UFOlogy.
He founded Halfacon. He belonged to the Southern Fandom Confederation.
Allen was married to Barbara Greenfield. He later moved to Tampa, FL before returning to Atlanta.
