5Con 96 was held March 1-3, 1996 in Seeyle Hall at Smith College in Northampton, MA.

GoHs were Roberta Gregory, Shirley Maiewski Chairman of the Star Trek Welcommittee, and Jerry Darcy.

Hours were 6PM to midnight Friday, 9 AM to midnight on Saturday and 9 AM to 4 PM on Sunday.

Weekends rates were $17, with a $10 rate for college students, and a $14 prereg rate, which were sent to Amanda Wright at Smith.

It included a Special Premier Event of the film "The Marriage of Main ShonDa and G'Narr the Victor!" by John McFetridge, listed as the first movie filmed at a SF convention.

The Hotel Northampton was the official convention hotel, which is not far from Smith, with rates of $85/$90 single/double.
