(???? –)

Ronald L. Bradbury was a UK fan and fanartist from Manchester active in the early 1940s. He attended Norcon and Norcon II.

He is mentioned several times in Futurian War Digest, usually visiting or being visited by other fans. In #20 J. Michael Rosenblum wrote of:

Ron Bradbury's interesting hobby of making fantaster [sic] models and drawings and then photographing them. We hope a method may be found of presenting his work in FIDO. In connection with it he mentioned the following anecdote – He enclosed a photo of a drawing of an 'Atomic Power Plant' (sic) in a letter to U.S.A. only to have it returned by censor with a sternly worded admonition that photos of buildings, plants, and machinery were not allowed to be sent out of the country. Tell it to Campbell, somebody.

Edwin Macdonald visited Bradbury in 1944 and spoke of his 'well-executed paintings of a science-fiction nature' (Delerium Tremens #14). He contributed a cover to Futurian War Digest #23.

He doesn't seem to have been in evidence after 1945.
