Jeremiah Benjamin Post was a member of Universe Unlimitedand the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society.He preferred to go by the name of J. B. Post.
He was employed by Philadelphia Free Library as their chief map librarian and published several articles in his field, as well as the humorous "A Modern Map Librarian (with apologies to Gilbert & Sullivan). He wrote An Atlas of Fantasy, published first by Mirage in 1973, and a revised edition by Ballantine in 1979.
