Darrah Perry Chavey was a fan and fanzine collector from Beloit, WI, and, previously, Madison. He was an advisor to the Beloit Science Fiction and Fantasy Association, a longtime volunteer editor of Fancyclopedia 3, a regular worker on Wiscon and a contributor to the ISFDB.
Darrah married Peggy Weisensel Chavey in June 1983. The couple were avid square, round and ballroom dancers and instructors. In his day job, Darrah was Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Beloit College.
He died after complications from heart surgery.
