Brian Allport

Brian Allport was a fan originally from Nottingham and later Liverpool, UK active in the 1960s. He was a member of the Forest Fields Science Fiction Society and one of the editors of its clubzine, Icarus. He was also a member of the BSFA from 1963.

He was a member of Bullcon and attended Repetercon, the 1963 and 1964 Eastercons respectively. By the latter he'd relocated to Liverpool, leading Archie Mercer to dub him 'Brian Export' in Les Spinge #13 (May 1964). He also attended Brumcon II and Loncon II, the 1965 Eastercon and Worldcon.
