Bill Dignin was one of the eager young 7th Fandomites whom Harlan Ellison gathered at the rallying HEcon in 1953. He attended Midwestcons and Worldcons.

A fanartist and cartoonist, he contributed to Psychotic, Filler, Science Fantasy Bulletin, Destiny and other fanzines. Ellison called him “a young fellow with an amazingly sharp wit,” in Sol IX (August 1952).

He pubbed Definitely for 7APA.
