(September 3, 1931 -- August 3, 2017)

Jack Wodhams was a fan and pro who was born in Dagenham, London, England, but lived in Australia since 1955. He was a member of the Melbourne Science Fiction Club and contributed to a number of fanzines.

He was first published in Analog in 1967 with the story "There Is a Crooked Man." He is largely known for the kind of "problem oriented" stories that Analog itself is known for.

From 1970 to 1982 he was nominated for the Ditmar Award several times.
