Musicon was a filk convention founded by Lee Billings (who chaired it) and held in January in Nashville, Tennessee, from 1992 to 1996. The original core committee was Tom Billings, James Fulkerson, Andy Bateman, Vanessa Cain, Paul Wilson, Margaret Brown, and David Perry.

Convention Dates GoHs
Musicon 1 January 3-5, 1992 Naomi Pardue
Musicon 2 January 1-3, 1993 Renee Alper
Musicon 3 January 7-9, 1994 Bill Sutton, Brenda Sutton, Kristoph Klover
Musicon 4 January 6-8, 1995 Margaret Middleton
Musicon 5 January 5-7, 1996 Mark Bernstein, Rennie Levine

This seems to have been the last Musicon. Plans had been laid for another with Timelines as GoH and Juanita Coulson and toastmaster, and a search started for a new hotel, but -- apparently -- this did not work out.
