Eighth Australian Natcon, held April 4-6 1969 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. For the first two days (Friday and Saturday) it was held at the Melbourne Science Fiction Club (19 Somerset Place). The Sunday afternoon and night sessions were held at the Capri Cinema, Murrumbeena. Diane Bangsund was "convention coordinator." GoH: Lee Harding Fan GoH: John Foyster HonSec: Bill Wright
The Australian Science Fiction Achievement Awards (the Ditmar Awards) were first presented at this convention. Also, a Melbourne Science Fiction Club Achievement Award was awarded to Leigh Edmonds.
