When you read a new book you get eyetracks all over it. Then it isn't mint any more. Nearsighted James White is the only fan who leaves a nosetrack between his eyetracks. It's said by John Trimble that the reason so many fans wear glasses is to keep from getting eyetracks on their precious volumes.
