Satellite Science Fiction
SF magazine published by Renown Publishers, New York, from October, 1956, until May, 1959, for a total run of 18 issues. Renown Publishers was owned by Leo Margulies.
The editors during the run were Sam Merwin (1956), Leo Margulies (1957-1958), and Frank Belknap Long (1959). Cylvia Kleinman (Mrs. Leo Margulies) was Managing Editor/Editorial Director on all issues.
Sam Moskowitz was a regular contributor and the magazine's book reviewer, with his review column called "The Science Fiction Collector."
The idea behind the magazine was to publish a complete novel each issue, and back it up with several short stories. It is known today for Moskowitz's articles and for publishing several British novels that might not otherwise have seen American publication.
