(1) A Genre and a Format

The pulps were magazines printed on cheap wood-pulp paper which dominated SF publishing from its beginnings through the 40s, largely dying out over the 50s. The format was characterized by unsophisticated and usually formulaic adventure stories. Nonetheless, modern SF grew from those pulp beginnings.

(2) A Fanzine by Robert Weinberg

A fanzine edited by Robert Weinberg with fourteen issues from 1974 to 1980.

(3) A Multi-editor Fanzine

A fanzine edited by a variety of editors with nineteen issues from 1986 to 1991. The editors included Rob Hansen, Vin¢ Clarke, Pam Wells, John Harvey, and Avedon Carol.
