Jack Keating was a fan from Melbourne, Australia active in the 1950s. We was an early member of the Melbourne Science Fiction Club (MSFC) and Merv Binns remembered him as 'an avid reader and loved to talk about sf and things in general'[1].
Keating was a regular reviewer for Etherline, contributing brief story-by-story magazine reviews. He attended the Fourth Australian Science Fiction Convention in 1955 and the Canberra Science Fiction Conference at Easter 1956. At Olympicon that same year he was one of the actors in a play written by Norma Hemming.
He attended the MSFC's 40th anniversary party in 1992.
