(???? – )

Herbert Jones was a publisher working for the London, UK company Sidgwick & Jackson active. He was a member of the Supermancon in 1954 although it's not known if he attended. He also conceived the idea of the Science Fiction Book Club which launched in 1953, and served on its selection panel and edited its newsletter, Science Fiction News.

Less directly relevant, he was also the editor of the Jazz Book Club between 1956 and 1967, and was presumably the author of Type in Action, published by Sidgwick & Jackson in 1938.
