Alan Dodd was a reclusive British fan who only made a couple of appearances in public, with most of his fanac in fanzines. He was a prozine collector.
Dodd was the target of a hoax by Dave Jenrette and Ron Bennett in which they claimed that they had created Dodd as a hoax fan.
