Do you mean Gargoyle, a fanzine by Sandy Rosin?

Gargoyle was a fanzine published by David McIlwain in the UK. He also published an Confiteor and Forerunner as supplements, and there were two #3s, one unfinished and with limited distribution. Contributors included John F. Burke, Arthur C. Clarke, Ron Holmes, D. R. Smith, William F. Temple, Eric C. Williams and C. S. Youd.

It was occasionally referred to by the nickname "Garge".
