(???? – )

Reg Diggins was a UK fan from Manchester active in the 1940s. He was a member of the British Fantasy Society, joining in early 1943 meaning he is one of the members (such as H. S. Burton) whose arrival was likely noted in British Fantasy Society Bulletin #6 and as of 2024 nobody has been able to locate a copy of that one.

During the Second World War he served in the Royal Air Force as a corporal and ended up in Madras in India after being added to and then removed from a list for overseas dispatch sixteen times over a period of nine months, as reported by D. R. Smith in British Fantasy Society Bulletin #24 (December 1945). Smith adds that Diggins 'finally sailed away with his Class B release in hot pursuit'. A Class B release allowed service personnel to be demobilised if they had a university place.

He is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom of 1945 although not in later versions.
