(???? – ????)

Walter I. Norcott was a UK fan and collector from Worcester active in the 1940. He was a member of the British Fantasy Society (BFS) and J. Michael Rosenblum described him in Futurian War Digest #24 as 'a mature Worcester fan ... who is now initiated into the melee of fandom.'

Norcott became a subscriber to Futurian War Digest in summer 1942. He joined the BFS and became coordinator or its 'Magazine Mart', seemingly a mechanism to enable members to trade prozines. It wasn't a success. The British Fantasy Society Bulletin #17 reported that 'it is not the fault of the sponsors that customers have so far been few and practically impossible to satisfy' while #19 said, 'Dealings on the Mart are, in fact, not few – they just ain't.'

He is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom of 1945 but not in later directories.

He does though have a letter in Famous Fantastic Mysteries (June 1953) offering various books for sale.
