Stefantasy began as an apazine by Bill Danner from the Skreughball Press. Harry Warner described it as one of the best of the few printed fanzines of the 1950s. It ran until the late 1990s. Danner did all of the typesetting (hand-set) and letterpress printing himself.

It started in VAPA, moved to FAPA for more than a decade, and then turned into an independent genzine.
